This notice explains how TIDNIC collects and uses personal information, and how this website uses cookies and browser storage. It is written to meet the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Who we are
The responsible party for personal information collected through this website is TIDNIC IT and Training Solutions (Pty) Ltd, trading as TIDNIC, of 30 Kerk Street, Kempton Park, 1620, Gauteng, South Africa.

What we collect
This website has no forms and no user accounts. We only receive personal information when you choose to contact us:
- When you email, call or WhatsApp us — your name, contact details, organisation and whatever you tell us about your requirement.
- Analytics, only if you accept it — how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and whether a contact link was clicked. This is collected by Google Analytics and is not used to identify you personally.
We do not buy personal information, and we do not sell or share it for advertising.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations and deliver the services you request.
- To meet our legal, tax and procurement obligations.
- If you consent to analytics, to understand which services visitors look for so we can improve the site.
Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. We keep their use to a minimum:

If you choose "Essential only", no analytics code is loaded at all. You can change your choice at any time using the button below or the "Cookie settings" link at the foot of every page.
Sharing and cross-border transfer
We share personal information only with operators who help us run the business — our website and email host, and, if you accept analytics, Google. Google processes analytics data outside South Africa, which POPIA permits where the recipient is bound by protections substantially similar to POPIA. We never share your information for marketing by others.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to respond and deliver work, and records connected to quotations, contracts and invoices are kept for five years to meet tax and legal requirements. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, damage and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections to this website and access controls on our systems.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask us whether we hold personal information about you, request a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to its processing. Contact our Information Officer to exercise any of these rights. We will respond within a reasonable time.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
